How the site works, and how booking works.

What you agree to when you read this website, follow a link to book or pay, come on a market walk or cook one of the recipes.

Example text for the Chard template, written for Chard Nutrition, an invented dietetic practice in London run by an invented registered dietitian. It is an example to be reviewed by a lawyer before you publish, and checked against your own practice software, insurer and professional body; nothing here is legal or medical advice.

1. Who publishes this site

This website is published by Chard Nutrition, the practice of Nell Avery, a dietitian registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Contact: Chard Nutrition, Studio 4, 27 Halden Row, London E8 · 020 7946 0381 · hello@chardnutrition.example.

2. Information, not individual advice

The pages, recipes and answers on this site are general information. They are not advice about your own health, which you only get in a consultation, once your history, results and medicines have been taken into account. The Medical Disclaimer explains this in full.

3. Prices and booking

Prices are in pounds sterling and shown before you book. The price that applies is the one confirmed by the booking tool when you book. Prices on the site may change; a change never affects a session or programme you have already booked.

Booking, payment and video calls happen in outside services, under their own terms. A programme is paid in full when you book it, unless the booking page offers to split the payment.

4. Cancellations and missed sessions

Move or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before an appointment. Inside 48 hours, half the session fee is charged; a missed appointment is charged in full. Sessions in a programme are valid for 3 months from the first visit.

If Nell has to cancel, you choose between a new time and a full refund of that session.

5. Market walks

Market walks take place at Halden Row Saturday Market, a public market that Chard Nutrition does not run. The food you buy is yours and paid for by you, directly to the traders. Children come with an adult who stays responsible for them.

If the market is closed, the walk moves to the next Saturday at no cost. Video walks in your own shop follow the same rules.

6. Recipes and allergens

Recipes are written for an ordinary home kitchen. Check every label for allergens and adapt quantities to your own advice; a recipe marked Low-FODMAP, Gluten-free or Vegan means it was written that way, not that every brand you buy will be.

7. Words and photos

The text, recipes and photos on this site belong to Chard Nutrition or are used with permission. You may print or share a recipe for your own use with a link back to the page; please ask before reusing anything else.

8. Links to other websites

Links to booking tools, the NHS, charities or maps are there for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or their availability.

9. Our responsibility

We take care to keep the site accurate and working, but it may sometimes be out of date or unavailable. We are not liable for losses caused by relying on general information on the site instead of advice given to you in a consultation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

10. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. When they change, this page and its date change with them; the version shown when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
